TESTIMONY

A formal written or spoken statement, especially one given by an individual in a given case scenario.
Christians in general, especially within the Evangelical tradition, use the term.  “To Testify”.  Or “To give one’s own Testimony”  Commonly it may be  referred to as Testifying of a Specific event in a Christians life in which God did something deemed miraculously and particularly worth sharing.

Luke 24:6-11. PA.

6 Have you forgotten what he said to you while he was still in Galilee: 7 ‘The Son of Man is destined to be handed over to sinful men to be nailed to a cross, and on the third day he will rise again’?”

8 All at once they remembered his words. 9 Leaving the tomb, they went to break the news to the Eleven and to all the others of what they had seen and heard.

11 When the disciples heard the testimony of the women, it made no sense, and they were unable to believe what they heard.

Verse 11, of our reading today says “When the disciples heard the testimony of the women, it made no sense, and they were unable to believe what they heard”.  Yes!  Your testimony may not make sense for someone or those that heard because they can’t fathom the workings of the Lord’s doings for to  the untamed it’s foolishness.

But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. (1Corinthians 2:14).

Our lives become not our own, and we are able to live according to God’s plan. It is important for us to realize the value of our testimony. Not only do our testimonies represent us coming to Christ, but they can also continue to bring others to Him when we share them.

Do not hold back to share the good news the Lord has done because it could be the encouragement someone is looking for to frog leep from a point of contempt to compliment. We just celebrated Christ the only son begotten from death. He died and rose from the dead and lives forever, He triumphed over death for life. There’s no religious leader that died and rise again. He rose from the death there has not been any other historical evidence of any one who Rose from the Death that did not die again.

There are instances where people died and were raised miraculously from dead  Like Lazarus who died and buried but was raised from death by Jesus Christ yet Lazarus died again. There are other scriptural records of people that died and came back like Jairus daughter but Jesus died and  rise not to die again.  He rose and we rose with Him.

This is our testimony that Christ died, and we have been joined with him by dying too. So we will also be joined with him by rising from the dead as he did .

So do not feel  shutdown when you share your testimony and it did not make sense to anybody. Not everybody may want to share in your dream that will not stop you from dreaming. Not everyone is happy to hear your testimony say it all the same, Not everyone will wish you well after hearing your testimony move on and persevere to be different, it is for your good

Thank God we are of the redeemed of the blood of our Lord Jesus Christ by whose stripes we are healed. We are not perturbed by the words of the unbelievers. He died that we may be delivered from the power of death and death has no more power over us in Jesus name Amen.

Thanks for reading, Have a pleasant blissful New Month. SHALOM. !  Blessing Onugha ♥️
